Wardrobe

I believe I have secured the position of THE slackest blogger. Ever. But, I've decided not to beat myself up about it - I have been busy. Here is a quick update on our walk in robe.

We decided to go with MDF. I would have loved to have used timber, but there was also a lot of work and painting to be done! Our builder constructed it all, using a couple of ready made modules, and cutting the rest to size.

The pic below is the right hand side of the robe, where hubby's clothes go. Yes, I got 2/3 of the space, but it's only fair right?

Here it is on it's way...We had our new bamboo flooring laid first. This stuff is amazing, and so hard wearing too. We have done the flooring process this way to avoid the ugly quarter board finishing that you often see when it is laid and the skirting boards are already down. We then installed the skirting after the walls were painted.

We painted the walls in "Tin Cat" half strength, the same as the master bedroom.

This is it, partly full. Room for shopping yes?
